Located in the Cathedral Peak area, this lush scenic trail follows the Ndumeni River upstream and is a somewhat easy trail. It does, however, get a bit tougher towards the finish but you are richly rewarded when you find a gorge of beautiful rainbows forming in the misty air. As a safety precaution, you are asked to sign in and out when you start and finish.

This is a day hike covering around 11 kilometres there and back, and takes about 2 hours to complete. You will be led to a tight gorge, where droplets of water drip down the sides and splashing water creates sparkling rainbows. Along the gorge you will also come across the well-known "chock-stone" which is jammed between the walls of the gorge.
